Electra del Maestrazgo Group has promoted the nocturne photography exhibition “The light of the night”, where you can see beautiful pictures of the towns of Maestrazgo, Matarranya and Bajo Aragón and Alt and Baix Maestrat and Els Ports can be appreciated. You can visit this exhibition at Tourism Office in Cinctorres until January 28th.
The authors of the exhibition are Eduardo Manero, Miguel Ángel Troncho and David Gil, who have had the collaboration of Miquel García-Donas, Pili Membrado and Alberedes 52 Photography Group. The photographers have visited the towns of these regions, from Benicarló to Castelserás , and they have capture incredible images of our skies and showing different phenomens, such as Milky Ways, Earth moviment, starry skies, light pollution …
Rescuing an impressive heritage
The exhibition consists of 18 photographs that show us a geography as different as that of this territory: coast, mountain, marshes, valleys, civil and religious buildings, heritage, abandoned places … A photographic view that offers us a quick overview of the inexhaustible heritage that We found in this area. And not only that, but many of the pictures take us to another time and show us a history that we sometimes do not know. Because this territory has a great history and traditions that are latent today and that come from several centuries ago. This night trip is also a journey through time, which reveals our monuments and their origins.
The Milky Way, the movement of the Earth or the starry skies alternate to complement the heritage of our peoples and leave impressive images. “The light of night” brings to light treasures often hidden or little known, which combine with places known by almost all our neighbors and neighbors. All with the addition of artificial lighting, used in various ways, which helps highlight some or other elements and make original compositions.
