THE MEETINGS OF THE REGION

HUNTING FAIR

Hunting tourism is also an important asset in the region of Els Ports, as there is public mountain and hunting reserves. This importance can be seen in a fair known as Fira de la Caça de Morella, a hunting fair organised by the local society of hunters and the Town Hall of Morella, which is held in May. This fair, which has a program that combines conferences with exhibitions of hunting equipment and live shows, has become a referent in this type of event.

FAIR OF LA MAGDALENA

The Fair of the Magdalena de Vilafranca is one of the main events of the summer in this locality. It is held in July and brings together about 200 commercial exhibitors, livestock, agricultural machinery and services. The Fira is organized on the Avenida de Vilafranca y les Eres and attracts thousands of visitors. In addition, during this weekend the program of activities is enhanced, with concerts, exhibitions and various activities.

FAIR OF MORELLA

The fair of Morella is one of the oldest in Valencia, since it was granted by royal privilege in 1257. It is held the second weekend of September and, it has become the perfect scenario for all products of the region. The fair has a great prominence in terms of livestock and agriculture, with a large exhibition of agricultural and forestry machinery and livestock. Moreover, there is a large offer of products and services offered in the town. Thus, the promenade Passeig de l’Albereda becomes the center of Morella during these two days, when thousands of visitors meet.
